Rohde & Schwarz acquired Camero-Tech

Camero-Tech from Kfar Netter near Tel aviv, was founded in 2004 and is the pioneer of Sense-Through-The-Wall solutions

Rohde & Schwarz has acquired the complete security scanner business unit of Camero-Tech and founded a new research & development company called SeemPulse. The acquisition expands the  portfolio of Rohde & Schwarz in the market of security scanner product lines. Christian Evers, VP Microwave Imaging R&S, said that with this strategic investment, “we are enlarging our product range for security checks in sensitive areas with cutting edge solutions.”

Amir Beeri, founder and CEO of Camero-Tech, adds, “We are very excited to be part of Rohde & Schwarz and pleased that our innovative security scanner technology has been recognized for its ability to address a wide range of applications requiring very high throughput.” Camero-Tech from Kfar Netter near Tel aviv, was founded in 2004 and is the pioneer of Sense-Through-The-Wall  solutions.

The company is specializing in Ultra Wide Band (UWB) imaging technology in which is implemented into its line of products ranging from small tactical devices (Xaver product), up to walk-through body scanners to be used in mass transportation areas . Its STTW solutions are based on micro-power pulse radar technology that works with image and signal processing algorithms.

Rohde & Schwarz from Munich, Germany, develops and produces products for professional users in Test and Measurement, Broadcast and Media and Aerospace and defense. It has approximately 11,500 employees and had reached annual sales of approximately EUR 2 billion in the 2017/2018 fiscal year (July to June).
