Blackbird International Corporation (OTC: BBRD), the sole shareholder of Wave Electricity Renewal Power Ocean Ltd (WERPO),  announces an Agreement with Help Mankind for a joint venture in Sri Lanka. The new entity will open a manufacturing plant for the production of the equipment used by WERPO in its technology to generate electricity through the movement of the ocean/sea.

WERPO will construct the first of a series of electrical power plants in Sri Lanka and will hold 51% of  the shares of the Joint Venture. While WEPRO will be responsible for technical matters and the construction of the project. Its partner will secure the required financing.

Wave Electricity Renewable Power Ocean (WERPO) is an Israeli company formed in 2014, promoting its sea wave energy systems around the world. WERPO was erected in connection with SDE Ltd,.  in order to take on a public company shell through a reverse merger with BBRD. WERPO currently holds all the rights for SDE’s technology, property, IP’s (patents and so on), contracts and subsidiaries.

With SDE’s unique and innovative sea wave technology, alongside its new promotional capabilities through the public NYC OTC market, WERPO aims to broaden its work base and further promote its sea wave energy solution around the globe.

Mr. Shmuel Ovadia, the inventor of the technology and previous CEO of SDE, continues to develop his technology under WERPO and has taken a role as director in the company.

Mr. Ovadia had dreamed about producing energy from sea waves over 40 years ago and in 1997 received the first patent for the system, approved by the U.S. Patent Office. Since then additional patents have been filed with applications for worldwide use, including many upcoming patents pending.
