Zero Networks Expands Kubernetes Microsegmentation, Giving Security Teams Full Control

Zero Networks announced expanded Kubernetes microsegmentation capabilities designed to give security teams complete visibility and control without depending on DevOps expertise. Using native Kubernetes tools and eBPF technology, the company’s platform enables a lightweight, non-intrusive deployment that prevents lateral movement and supports secure scaling across containerized environments.

Yuval Goldberg, Vice President of Product Management at Zero Networks, said that security should not slow down business. According to him, the new approach offers strong protection with minimal friction, allowing security professionals to safeguard Kubernetes environments without disrupting their DevOps colleagues.

As Kubernetes adoption continues to accelerate, with most enterprises already using or testing the technology, the company’s solution aims to answer one of the most pressing challenges in modern IT: visibility and control inside dynamic clusters. The new version provides granular monitoring of workload activity, insight into cross-cluster network policies, and centralized rule management through a single interface. It integrates smoothly with existing workflows and does not require architectural changes or downtime for running applications.

Among the core capabilities are automated discovery of all workloads and dependencies inside Kubernetes clusters, visibility into east-west and north-south traffic, instant understanding of user-defined network policies to identify exposures, and centralized management of segmentation rules.

Zero Networks’ identity-aware microsegmentation can be deployed within days rather than months. Its deterministic automation engine removes the complexity that has traditionally limited adoption of microsegmentation and aligns with the new CISA zero-trust guidelines.

The company was recently recognized with four Top InfoSec Innovator Awards for 2025, including Most Advanced in Microsegmentation, Most Innovative in Zero Trust, Groundbreaking Cybersecurity Visionary, and Market Innovator in Identity Protection. The awards highlight Zero Networks’ broad zero-trust portfolio aimed at stopping lateral movement and containing ransomware without adding operational burden.

In parallel, the company is running a four-week webinar series called Containment Island, where security professionals can compete for weekly prizes, earn continuing-education credits, and qualify for a grand prize trip to the Four Seasons Bahamas. Winners will be announced on November 11.
