Nanographic printing is a unique technology developed by the Landa Group. Landa believes this technology will eventually replace traditional offset printing – a technology that has its roots in the late 19th century. While offset printing is a complex technology, requiring pre-treatment, special coating and high energy usage for drying, Landa promises nanoprinting to be much more efficient.

According to the Landa group, nanoprinting creates scratch resistant images that can be printed on any substrate, without requiring any kind of pre-treatment or special coating. The technology does not require post-drying and is extremely efficient due to the fact that the nanographic images are only 500 nanometers thick – about half of a traditional offset image.

In addition to a lavish theatrical presentation and a much frequented presence in the exhibition, the Landa Group used the backdrop of the world largest printing exhibition to draw attention to some of its latest achievements including: large scale orders of its products, beta site announcements for USA and Europe, Strategic agreements with leading companies such as Cimpress. Benny Landa said that while “ In the past, digital printing vendors had to try to convince the market that digital is the way to go. Previously it was a ‘push’ selling motion. Now, for the first time, the situation has reversed. There is a very strong ‘pull’ from the market, driven by both customers and brand-owners, who are now demanding digital printing. It seems that the market leaders – in packaging, commercial printing and in publishing – have come to the realization that they simply must go digital.”
