Orbit acquires Euclid Systems Engineering

Orbit Communications Systems from Netanya (near Tel Aviv) has entered into an agreement to purchase 100% of the issued and repaid capital of Euclid Systems Engineering for approximately $4.5 million. The transaction is part of Orbit’s plans to expand its portfolio of products. “This transaction is in line with Orbit’s strategy of expanding our product portfolio and solutions to additional content worlds that require precise, small and lightweight positioners systems such as unmanned airborne and satellite applications, sea and land vehicle systems,“ said Daniel Eshchar, CEO of Orbit.

Orbit is a provider of maritime and airborne SATCOM terminals, tracking ground station solutions, and mission-critical airborne audio management systems. Established in 2006, Euclid is developing motion control solutions for the defense industry.​ Its products includes Ground Terminal & Drone Interception Positioners, aerial antenna positioners, radar antenna positioners with accuracy of up to 0.001 degrees, and more. Among its customers: RAFAEL, Elbit Systems, IAI, Aeronautics, MOD, Verint, IMC, IDF and Gilat.
